On August 6th of 2006 Troop 23 Summited Mt. Katahdin (Indian for The Greatest Mtn.)  in our quest to summit all the highest peaks in New England.  

Are you ready for Katahdin?

As with all great treks, it take a lot of people to put it together.  Our special thanks goes out to The Boyd's (of Abnaki District fame) for all of their help.  The East Millinocket Fire Dept. for their help and for putting us up in the rain and hail and lightning storm.   We would also like to thank the Troops of the Tri-Town Area (55, 56, and 57) for allowing us to utilize their magnificent camp site.
