Mike's Project has been completed! Thanks to all who gave donations of time and money. At the conclusion of the project, in work days alone, there were 525 man hours invested into this project. He is still seeking sponsors for a Trash-A-Thon to raise the money for some unexpected costs of the project.

Eagle Project Description
The purpose of this project is to create a place where members of the community of Strafford can take items that are still in good working condition that they no longer have a use for. These
items can help families in need of furniture, electronics, toys or other things that they might have a hard time affording new. This also prevents the need for people to throw away items that may
pollute the environment by recycling. The shed is not intended to store firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, fluids, liquids, hazardous materials, propane tanks, permanently broken
items, food, cars and trash.
Goals of the project
1. To help improve the standard of living within the community. One of the goals of the project is to keep the items local and in the community. In the Country, State and Town people are
experiencing hard times economically. I believe in helping community first.
2. To help people in the community who may be experiencing hard times and those in need. Not everyone can afford new items for their families that others might see as necessities. Some
families are growing and do not have extra money for things that are not vital to survive. These items might be toys for children, a dining room table or an appliance.
3. To encourage recycling. Instead of throwing away items (that still work) because they are not as new or the right size or power, does not mean that the item needs to be thrown away and sit in a landfill. The items can be reused.
Who will benefit?
The beneficiaries of the Good as New Shed will be the residents of Strafford, NH. They will be able to find a place for items that are not in use in their homes and that others will be able to take
free of charge. After the completion of the project the shed will be maintained and managed by the Town of Strafford.
