Blue Job Trail Work and Conservation |

Description
The project I’m planning involves bridging three severely impacted and wet areas along the Blue Job hiking trail in Strafford, New Hampshire. A total of thirteen 12-foot sections of boardwalk will be built and placed over those sections of trail.
Who Will Benefit
There is more than one beneficiary of this project:
The New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED) will benefit from the project by having motivated volunteers perform a trail management/ conservation project on three significant sections of eroded/at-risk trails. |
These repairs will make the trail more accessible to cyclists and hikers. |
They will also protect the surrounding vegetation from impact due to wide deviation around wet/flooded areas of trail. |
