James Noronha - Eagle Scout                    

     

 

James is Troop 23's 3rd Eagle Scout achieving Eagle June 29th 2005.  His Eagle Project was trail work and a massive bridge on conservation land just off route 125 in Barrington, NH

James graduated from Cornell with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Class of 09).  In 2008 he completed Officer Candidate School (OCS) for the US Marine Corps and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, and in October 2010 he reported to Quantico, VA for The Basic School (TBS). During college breaks he has traveled to the Gulf coast to do post-Hurricane Katrina reconstruction, and to Nepal to install water purification systems in remote villages.

Currently 1LT James Noronha is deployed to Afghanistan and he and his platoon are advising an Afghan Infantry platoon.
